Alison Woitunski is a writer, organic farmer and creative entrepreneur with a passion for sustainable textiles, apparel and design. With over a decade of cross-sector agricultural and food-focused experience, Alison’s background spans agricultural production, program and community development, distribution and business management.  For five years Alison served as a manager at the nationally recognized organization, The Food Project.  She is the co-author of The Year Round Harvest: A Seasonal Guide to Growing, Eating and Preserving the Fruits and Vegetables of Your Labor.  As a manager of diversified organic vegetable, fruit and flower operations in both New England and Hawaii, Alison possesses an equal love for heirloom bananas and heirloom tomatoes.   When the art and science of food production serves as a catalyst for community development and creative entrepreneurship, this farmer/designer/writer/outdoor adventurer is at her best.
